Dillon's First Field Trip

Dillon and I went to Vollmer Farms today with his new preschool class. We were in the group Cows 4. We had a great time. We learned about cows, milked a fake cow, rode on the hayride, and made real butter. We also tasted it after it was made. It was really good. Dillon's excited about making more, especially for Thanksgiving. We also had time to play after this. He played on the playground of course and dug in the sand. They had some really neat big wooden things for the kids to climb on like Noah's Ark, a 4X4 truck, and a train. He jumped on the giant pumpkin, and jumped in and rolled around in the giant cornbox. He also played with the dog, Bee, exactly like Holly. He got to pick two pumpkins at the end. We had a great time together. Some Mommy and Dillon time is needed too sometimes. It was really cold, but we bundled up and stayed close.
