We went to a church in Raleigh and they were reenacting what Bethlehem was like when Jesus was born. It was really interesting and they had lots of crafts to do. They also had animals to pet and a "baby Jesus" at the end of the journey through the other sites. At almost every site you received a piece of the nativity scene when you completed the craft. Dillon made a clay pot, a necklace with myrrh, a harp, and an ornament. They also had an open market and picture taking. They also had census takers. Everyone was dressed up. It was so neat to really feel the spirit of Christmas while thinking about how Jesus could have lived.
