The kids in Dillon's class have been learning about community helpers and having different parents come in and share with the class what they do (i.e. police office, detectives, and a nurse). The kids missed out on the fire fighters coming and bringing their trucks and puppet show due to the snow. Hopefully, they'll do that soon and make it up. On Friday, after two weeks of talking about community helpers, they could dress up as one. Dillon decided the night before going to school he was going to be a police officer. We ironed his clothes and got everything ready. I got him ready the next morning (of course I was running late), and he decides to change his mind. He decided to be a "fighter fighter." So, we changed gears. Here are some pictures of him before going to school. I'm glad I got a picture of him with the hat on prior to going to school, because when we got their he informed me he didn't want to wear it. When I asked him why he replied that it was mess up his hair.
