We began the day by walking to the nursing home across the street for Christmas caroling. The kids sang lots of songs and did a really great job. The most exciting part was that the fire department blocked traffic both times we crossed the street. It was very thoughtful of them and we felt much safer crossing that busy street. After caroling we had the Christmas party. Each child was so excited and full of energy. They played in the gym afterwards. Upon leaving each child had a stocking to take home with their name on it filled with lots of goodies from one another. It was definitely a day full of excitement and fun!!
