Some People Are Worth Melting For

"Some people are worth melting for."  Here is the famous line of Olaf from the movie Frozen.  It seems simple enough.  I've thought about it over and over.  But, everyone should be worth melting for.  No one life should be more important than the other, especially if Christ is the center of our lives.  I've often thought of people in my own life.  I have people that I hold near and dear to me family and friends that I absolutely love and would melt for or die for.

But am I willing to put it all on the line for salvation for others not to be condemned to hell for eternity?  Shouldn't I want and desire this for everyone and all around me?  To go even one more step deeper if I was asked point blank is Jesus worth melting for with a gun to my head or ready to be beaten, would He be?  How would I feel in that scenery if my children were faced with that question or my husband?  Do I love Him enough to know He's the only one worth melting for and able to let everyone else go?

I have had my 10 year old read this post the past couple of days and tell me he likes it.  He said he agrees with me.  He came to me and said, I read your post and I think it sounds good.  The truth of the matter is he earnestly loves Jesus and knows and yearns the TRUTH for everyone around him. He has a hard time understanding why people don't just grasp and hold onto the truth.  He has a deep desire for those around him to be saved and talking about Jesus and salvation is very easy and a quick topic to come up in conversation with him.  He absolutely wants the same love, peace, joy, etc. he's found for others.  He said everyone is worth melting for too after all Jesus died for us.

So, Jesus came at Christmas as a baby.  That's only the beginning.  He came because you were worth melting for.  He came knowing He was going to die.  So, as we go into Christmas week, aka birthday week for Jesus, we've decided that you are worth melting for, but more importantly, Jesus is worth melting for.
